Age Protection Policy
Last updated September 9, 2026
Ticka is a beer diary and discovery service operated by Ruminari Inc. It is intended only for adults who are of legal drinking age in their country or region — in the United States, that means you must be at least 21 years old. This policy explains how we check age and what we do about under-age accounts.
The age check
Before you can reach any account or content in Ticka, you are asked to confirm your date of birth. If the date you enter puts you below the minimum drinking age, access is blocked and no account is created.
This is a self-attestation check: we rely on you to answer honestly, and we do not ask for identity documents.
What we store
•
We do not keep the date of birth you enter. Once the check passes, we store only a yes/no flag that the check was completed.
•
That flag is recorded on your device, and — once you sign in — on your account record, so the check does not have to be repeated on every visit and cannot be bypassed by reinstalling.
Under-age accounts
Ticka is not directed to anyone below the legal drinking age, and we do not knowingly allow such users to hold accounts or market to them. If we learn that an account belongs to an under-age person, we will remove it.
If you believe an under-age person is using Ticka, tell us at support@brew-tracker.com.
Responsible enjoyment
Ticka is for tracking and discovering beer, not for encouraging excess. Please drink responsibly and know your local laws.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
